Mobile games for women

Here is an interesting article where Kristin Asleson McDonnell is telling about the history of LimeLife a start-up company that is making mobile phone games for women.

COMMENTARY
To me this seems to be an excellent idea, because all the women I know have mobile phones and they like to play those simple games that are readily installed on them. Mobile phone is the gaming platform for women.

Platform independent games

I was just wondering the fact that the most important features of mobile phones - voice and messaging - are interconnectable. Games are not. Games are severely limited by the specifications of different mobile devices.

Somebody should use Scalable Vector Graphics to produce games that could be sent to another phone, bit like email attachments. These games would work in every mobile device of certain low quality. We would have a flood of games in our hands...
