Gameloft is UbiSoft subsidiary, which focuses on mobile games. The latest plan, as white knight offers appear to be scarce, is to merge the parent company and the subsidiary. The move is not directly related to business operations, but the ownership of UbiSoft. Guillemot brothers happen to own the majority of Gameloft's stock and whether these companies are to merger, Guillemot brothers would increase their ownership of UbiSoft to a level in which they could fend off any hostile takeovers.
